Beaches are open, border is open, airports are open , restaurants are open, curfew is 5am until 10pm. Quite a few tourist are here ! Requiremants are face masks and COVID certified test are required for travelers.
Get out of the cold and come down here and come enjoy the tropics!!!

A curfew is in place for the holidays, All beaches are closed from December 23 until January 4th. The curfew hours are 5am until 7pm . Bocas has the lowest COVID count than anywhere in Panama. However the health minister sends down orders from conditions based in Panama City sometimes goes on a national level. Many times this has residents and business owners frustrated. As Bocas is 95% tourism based, it is important that beaches re- open asap probably January 5th. The curfew will likely go back to 5am until 11pm at that time. The main goal here is to stay safe during the holidays and beyond so we can all go on and live this Caribbean dream!!!
As of October 14th The Panama borders are open and international flights are now open for all travelers testing negative for COVID. Everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing. Businesses are just starting to open on a limited basis. Reported hotel bookings are coming in for the months of December and January. The surf crowd is starting to show up for the swell.
There is renewed interest in real estate as 3 commercial properties have new contracts, which were priced to sell. That said, we believe that there is no better place for post-COVID than this tropical lifestyle. A new curfew of 5am until 11pm allows time for restaurants to open and for tourist to enjoy a good meal.
